After sealing the deal for Nigeria striker Taiwo Awoniyi, Nottingham Forest are now in contention for another Nigerian, Nigeriasoccernet can report.
Nottingham Forest making it to the English topflight football after a while are working round the clock to get the best legs and so far they’ve been active in the market.
Forest have now turned their attention to one of the most sort after young midfielder, Joe Aribo.
The Nigeria and Glasgow Rangers midfielder is attracting major interest from English Premier League sides ahead of a decisive summer.
Aribo’s contract at Ibrox expires at the end of the 2022/23 season and Rangers could be enticed into selling during this transfer window, to avoid losing him for a free next summer.
He joined Rangers from Charlton in the summer of 2019 for just £300,000, so should the club sell him, they’ll be in line to make a large profit.
