NNL’23: FC One Rocket record second win of the season


One Rocket defeated Henserd FC in their Nigeria National League, NNL match day five fixture at the Eket Stadium on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Uyo based team came back from a goal down to win by three goals to nil over the Yenagoa club side to record their second win of the 2022/2023 NNL season.

Timothy Zuoboemi gave the visitors a shocking lead in the 24th minute amidst misses from the Host.

Charles Etim saved the blushes of the team to score the equalizer in the 32nd minute after he flicked in Nasiru Jibril’s dangerous corner kick, ending the first half 1-1.

Paul Ogunkoya gave the Host the lead for the first time from the penalty spot nine minutes into the second half.

Clinton Jephta made it three in the 71st via a header courtesy of Ugochukwu Agucho’s cross to make it 3-1.

The win takes One Rocket to second of the Southern Conference group B1 standings after five matches with 8 points.
