The midweek games of the Nigeria National League schedules for today Wednesday 13th July 2022 have now been moved to tomorrow Thursday 14th July, 2022, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
According to the statement released by the NNL governing body in the early hours of Wednesday 13th July 2022, inability to reach agreement with the Nigeria Referee Association caused the setbacks.
“Nigeria national league (NNL), has decided to shift its Midweek games fixed to hold Wednesday 13 July, 2022, following foreseeable late arrival of march officials,” statement reads.
“NNL is seeking appropriate solution after complaints from the Nigeria Football Referees Association (NRA),why the umpires will not be able to honour the midweek games.
“Therefore, NNL and the NRA reached a compromise to have the games now played Thursday 14 July, 2022.
“All the matches in the four groups will be played 9.AM across board.
“The Most important league however has tendered an unreserved apology to the clubs and their fans and various stakeholders over the inconveniencies the shift may have caused them.”
