NNL: Crown Fc call for the postponement of the league

General maneger of Ogbomosho based team, Crown FC, Kunle Oyeleye says he wants the Nigeria National League (NNL) not to Kickoff this weekend. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Oyeleye wants the league to be after the gubernatorial election which is scheduled for Saturday, March 11.

The abridged league according to the organizers will start on Saturday March 4 and then go on break a week later due to the election.

“We are looking forward to the draw by God’s grace.

“Considering the state of the country, we will not be disappointed if the league don’t start.” Oyeleye said to Brila fm.

“It is even better if the league is postponed till after the second election, at least for the safety of our members.” Oyeleye concluded

For 2023 season, will be the Southern and Northern Conference.
