Pegba-1 Sporting FC and HMK FC played a one-all draw in their season opener of the Nationwide League One at the Oshogbo Township Stadium on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Group C1A fixture saw HMK FC comeback from a goal down to earn a point in a match where all goals where scored via penalties.
After 40 minutes of action without a goal, Arogundade Taiwo broke the deadlock after converting the penalty to give Pegba-1 SC the lead in the 42nd minute.
HMK FC came back stronger in the second 45 with a quick response courtesy of Ademola Adeyemi who made no mistake to put his spot kick at the back of the net.
The win puts the two sides on second and third respectively with same number of points and goals, two points behind Hammola FC that win their own match in the group.
