There was no dull moment all through the 90 minutes of actions at the Akure township stadium as the 2022/2023 Nationwide League One games underway with electrifying atmosphere.
The Akure township stadium was jam-packed and there was much to cheer for and celebrate as spectators were served delicious meals from the Ikere Ekiti based Olukismet FC youngsters take command and firm authority of the game.
The first half of the encounter ended goalless draw, although Olukismet FC created so many goals scoring chances but failed to find the back of the net.
The Coach Oladeji Atobaje side came in to the second half with more energy as they push for the opening goal of the game, and that they got through Afolayan Gbenga in the 55th min.
Kogi based side Confluence Stars FC try to restore parity but to no avail.
Hollumy Boys continued took control of the match afterward and got rewarded for their efforts as Elanya made it 2-0 for them in the 77th minutes.
It was a great start for Olukismet FC opening their campaign with a 2 nil victory over Confluence Stars FC of Kogi State.
Speaking with journalist after the match, the team head coach Oladeji Atobaje gave kudos to all the players for showing composure, as they were able to curtail the pressure mounted by the Kogi based side from the start of the match. He was positive that the team we surely gain promotion to the second tier league of the country in this ongoing season.
Olukismet FC will play their next match against Osopadec FC on may 7 as they were draw bye for the second round of games.
