Ikere Ekiti Based National League One (NLO) Outfit, Olukismet FC have announced 30 man squad ahead of the 2022/2023 football league season.
The announcement was made at Ekiti Township Stadium, Ekiti state shortly after the team’s final pre-season game against an ikere Ekiti based all Stars FC which ended 2nil in favor of the NLO side.
Top on the squad is experienced player, Odunlami Kunle, and the skipper Olaide Davies as well as few newly recruited young Stars,who has promised to contribute nothing but the best to help the HOLLUMY BOYS gain promotion to the Nigeria National League after missing out last season.
Speaking to the team’s media officer after tha game, chief coach of Olukismet FC Oladeji Atobaje said ‘the team under his tutelage are ready to fight for the promotion ticket to the Nigeria second tier league this season’. He also use the medium to appreciate the Chief Executive Officer of the team Prince Olumide Adegboye for his support by providing every thing the team needs for a successful campaign,he also gave kudos to the team manager Mr Fakunle Issac and the team secretary Mr Ogundipe Abiodun.
In his final charge to the team, the team Adviser, Mr. Eniola Opeyemi popularly known as ACCRA CC, encourage the team to be good ambassador of the good people of Ekiti state,ikere kingdom and Nigeria at large,he admonish them to play to the instructions of there coaches,he also used the opportunity to pray for the teams success and promised to support them with everything humanly possible,so has to have a successful campaign this season.
Olukismet FC will play all their matches at the Akure township stadium in the group C1B of the NLO alongside Confluence Stars FC of kogi state, Arch rival Adamimogo FC, Osopadec FC and Emmalex FC all from Ondo state.
Olukismet FC will kickoff their campaign against Confluence Stars FC of Kogi State on Wednesday 3rd of May
