Ido-Osun based Soccer Giants, Hammola International Football Club have been housed in group C1A of the 2023 Nationwide League One (NLO) where they will slug it out against Victory Police FC, arch-rival Fehinty FC and the 2023 Osun FA Cup Champions, Osun United.
Also in the group are 2023 Osun FA Cup runner-up, Igbajo United, HMK and a neighbouring Pegba-1 Sporting FC of Ede.
This is contained is the full fixtures released by the Secretariat of the NLO after a formal approval by the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Olushola Ogunnowo.
According to the fixtures, Hammola will host Igbajo United in its first game Wednesday, May 3 2023 and entertain perennial rivals, Fehinty FC in the second game 2 days later.
“Lee Bombers” will be guests to Pegba-1 Sporting FC of Ede in the third match scheduled for May 7 while they will have a few days of rest afterwards after being drawn bye in week 4.
Biggest hostility takes centre stage May 11 as it will be a fierce encounter to wrap up the day when Osun United play host to Hammola in the week 5 encounter in which some pundits have tagged “the title decider.”
The last two matches are fixed for May 13 and 15 when Hammola will trade tackles with HMK and Victory Police respectively.
All matches will hold at the Osogbo Township Stadium which is one of the venues approved by the Secretariat of the NLO.
