NLO ’23: Hammola FC ease pass Igbajo United

Hammola FC got an emphatic win over Igbajo United to begin their campaign of the Nationwide League One, NLO on a fine note on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

LeeBombers defeated Igbajo by four goals to one in their Group C1A encounter at the Osogbo Township Stadium.

Abdulsalam Habeeb opened score in the 7th minute to put his side ahead while Gafar Onifade doubled the lead with a brilliant freekick 6 minutes later.

Ganiyu Wasiu of Ijoba pulled one back to give his side some form of hope of a comeback, but Abdulsalam Habeeb with a brace headed into the net to restore the two-goal lead three minutes before half time.

In the second half, Hammola continued with the ascendency as Olanrewaju Habeeb scored ten minutes before the end of the tie to ensure his side won by four goals to nil.
