Nigerian and Viktoria Plzen forward Fortune Bassey sees a difficult task in facing Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League Group Stage Matchday 2 clash today(Tuesday).
The team from Czech Republic will be going into the Inter Milan match following a humiliating defeat in the hands of Spanish LaLiga giants Barcelona.
Fortune Bassey and his teammates were humbled 5-1 by the Catalans.
The bookies favor Inter Milan to secure all maximum points over the club based in Plzen.
The 23-year-old, who came on for the remaining 34 minutes against Barcelona insisted that they will do their best against the Nerazzuri.
“Difficult game in a complicated group. The important thing for us is to give everything and achieve results if we want to overcome the group or aim for the Europa League,”Bassey told Sky Sport.
“We have to give our best as a team. Inter are a difficult opponent . We have to try, do our best and see what happens on the pitch.”
