Nigeria’s Ibrahim Shuaibu and Williams Troost-Ekong were among the goals as their Norwegian club FC Haugesund thrashed Stord 8-1 in a cup tie.
FC Haugesund have now progressed to the second round of the competition.
Nigeria defender Williams Troost-Ekong scored in the 38th minute to give his team a 3-1 lead.
The former Giwa FC striker Ibrahim Shuaibu stole the show with a brace in the 73rd minute and 83rd minutes to give them a 4-1 and then a 6-1 lead.
Another Nigerian, Anthony Izuchukwu, also featured for the victorious team as a 69th minute substitute for Alexander Stoelass.
