U.S based Nigerian-born coach, Oladayo Anthony Ushurhe , has obtained his national D coaching licence from the United States of America.
Ushurhe, a.k.a coach Tony, was a former coach of Lagos-based Amateur side, Messiah FC before he went to study at American Sports University San Bernardino, California, who offered him a scholarship, where he obtained his associate degree in Sports coaching fitness and health.
Ushurhe has coached three clubs so far including Avalanche FC Div 3, Arsenal FC DIV 1, and presently in charge of Colton High FC, California
He’s said to be ‘a proactive Nigerian coach who is always passionate and gives advice on how Nigeria football teams can progress due to his coaching principles and exposures’.
According to his profile, Coach Dosu David handed Messiah FC to Ushurhe a.k.a Coach Tony to manage and it was here Tony hit the limelight in Lagos state, winning in four years notable Lagos state organize league and tournaments, Ikeja league, Eko league and Maiden edition of the extra Joss tournament.
It is a great achievement for me. I feel very happy and thankful to God for learning a more advanced way of coaching,” he said.
Having acquired the United States of America coaching national E & F licence previously, he believes he’s taking the world by his feet.
