The final 60 players selected by Nigeria U17 coach Manu Garba will undergo a mandatory MRI scan.
This is to ensure they are within the age allowed for the competition.
“The NFF have graciously agreed to do the MRI of 60 of the players picked from the screening,” a team official informed AfricanFootball.com
Several thousands of youngsters from across the country have trooped into the FIFA Goal project in Abuja with the hope of impressing the national team selectors in an open screening exercise that will run for three weeks.
Five-time world champions Nigeria will face Niger in an U17 AFCON qualifier in August.
