Nigeria U-23 set to play Guinea Bissau in March

In quest to qualify and play at the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, the Olympic Eagles of Nigeria will host Guinea at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, on Wednesday, March 22. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigeria U-23 have made Ibadan their base since their screening and training. They have also played at the Lekan Salami Stadium against Tanzania winning 3-1 on aggregate in the previous round.

Nigeria after the game against Guinea will then travel for the reverse fixture taking place on Monday, March 27.

The game is likely to be played in Morocco as no stadium in Guinea has been cleared to host international matches by the Confederation of African Football, CAF.

The overall winners will qualify for the U-23 AFCON to be staged in Morocco later in the year.
