The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced new dates for the 2016 Federation Cup semifinals.
The earlier announced dates of September 25 and October 2 clashed with the final match day of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), which resulted in the change of dates.
The first semifinal between Crown FC and FC Ifeanyiubah will now be held on Wednesday, September 28 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
Reigning NPFL champions Enyimb, will clash with NPFL rivals Nasarawa United on Sunday, October 9 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
The women’s semifinals will still go ahead on the original date as earlier announced. Rivers Angles and Nasarawa Amazons will go head-to-head at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
Delta Queens and Bayelsa Queens will slug it out in the other semifinal at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, for a chance to contest for the trophy.
Both games will be played on September 21.
