Staff of the newly-created Sports Department of the National Assembly on Wednesday visited the Nigeria Football Federation and met with the General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi.
Conversations centered around how the NFF can help the nascent department with quality advice, guidance on technical matters and generally help spur the new department towards the objective of organizing nationwide parliamentary games that may eventually attain regional and continental dimensions, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
The Nigeria football federation, NFF is fully under the Supervision of the House Committee on sports, the Sports Ministry and the House Committee on Sports are working closely to be on the same page in bid to further oversee growth of Nigeria Football beyond it’s current situation.
The House Committee on Sports showed it’s readiness to partner the Sports Ministry and the Chairman showed this by being one of the first to congratulate the sports minister Senator John Enoh when he was appointed.
