Faouzi Ghoulam has earned a four-year extension with Napoli.
Napoli have announced that they have extended the contract of full-back Faouzi Ghoulam until 2022.
The 26-year-old is currently sidelined with a knee ligament injury which is likely to keep him out until March or April. And with his contract up for renewal in June, the Serie A club have moved to end questions about his future by agreeing a four-year extension.
“Ghoulam arrived in an Azzurri shirt in January 2014 and in five seasons, he has played 153 games between league and cups, scoring two goals,” read a statement on Napoli’s website. “Napoli have today completed the renewal of Faouzi Ghoulam’s contract until June 30, 2022.”
The former St Etienne full-back has been attracting interest for his performances in Serie A and the Champions League this season.
