West Ham United boss, David Moyes has identified Gent forward, Gift Orban as a “dangerous player” his men must be mindful of as the Hammers take on KAA Gent in the UEFA Europa Conference League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Playing in the Norwegian Second Division for Stabaek as recently as October, the Nigerian 20-year-old has scored nine goals in just eight Belgian League matches and five goals in four Europa League appearances.
It was his second-leg hat-trick against Basaksehir that fired Gent into the last eight and he will be hoping to enhance his fast-growing reputation against the Hammers in Thursday’s home leg.
Moyes reckoned it is important for his side to keep the young striker quiet.
“Gent did very well in Istanbul. They are going very strong. Gift Orban scored a hat-trick in Istanbul,” Moyes told a press conference.
“He is a very dangerous player but we saw them work enough and realize that their core has several strong players.”
