Michael Essien’s Foundation visits scientist who co-discovered deadly Ebola

The Michael Essien Foundation has visited the scientist Professor Peter Piot who co?discovered the Ebola virus.

The Belgian is now director of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

Back in September 1976, he was a 27?year-old researcher at a microbiology laboratory in Antwerp when he identified the new pathogen.
