Crystal Palace forward Micheal Olise has been nominated for Men’s Young Player of the Year at the London Football Awards. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Olise will compete with Arsenal’s star players Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba Millwall’s Billy Mitchell for the gong.
The London Football Awards celebrate the very best in London clubs consisting of Arsenal, Brentford, Charlton Athletic, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Leyton Orient, Millwall, Queen Park Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
Other clubs celebrated are AFC Wimbledon, Sutton United, Watford, London Bees and London City Lionesses.
Allnigeriasoccer also revealed Olise has also been nominated for the Goal of the Season for his sensational free-kick goal in injury time in a Premier League clash against Manchester United last month.
He will be competing against Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-Min, Watford’s Ismaïla Sarr, Leyton Orient’s Paul Smyth and Arsenal Women’s Laura Wienroither for the Goal of the Season.
