“?According to “?Sky Sports, Premier League champions Leicester City have agreed a £7.5m fee with Polish outfit Cracovia for 19-year-old Polish starlet Bartosz Kapustka.

Following an impressive Euro 2016, the winger’s signature has been hotly-contested, but it would appear that the Foxes have won the race.

The announcement of the fee comes after the youngster posted a photo of himself on Facebook, all set to travel to the King Power Stadium, reportedly to complete a medical.

Kapustka had also stated his desire to join Claudio Ranieri’s men in the Polish media, and also revealed that the Italian was a major factor in his decision.

“Yes, of all the offers tabled, Leicester wanted me the most,” the 19-year-old told Telewizja Polska, “Ranieri’s interest was a big factor for me. He was asking about me, he wanted me to join the team. This convinced me, but there were many factors.

I’m not going there only because of the name of the club, or because they won the Premier League. I’m optimistic and think I have a real chance of playing time.”

Kapustka made an impression on British football fans for the first time when he starred in Poland’s 1-0 win over Northern Ireland, in their opening match of Euro 2016, picking up the Man of the Match award.

His performances during his side’s run to the quarter finals drew attention from all over Europe, with sides from Germany, the Netherlands and Spain all reportedly showing an interest in the promising winger.

It remains to be seen if Kapustka will be playing alongside or replacing PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez, with the Arsenal among the clubs linked with a summer swoop for the Algerian.

Last season’s top scorer Jamie Vardy spurned the Gunners’ advances to sign a new four-year deal in July, and Ranieri will be hoping Mahrez follows his lead, and not that of N’Golo Kante, with the Frenchman having completed a £32m to Chelsea last month.
