Despite the fact his transfer fee is set to double in price, Leicester City have reportedly joined the race to sign Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina and are looking to submit a bid in the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old moved to Turin permanently in July following a successful loan spell from former club Olympique de Marseille. Lemina is on a four-year-contract.
Leicester City are looking to maintain their aggressive new transfer policy by signing the player, however, it appears that Arsene Wenger might stand in the way. He is keen to bring the mobile and robust midfielder to North London, and has had scouts watch the former Ligue 1 youngster in the opening stages of this season.

If Arsenal or the Foxes are interested in snatching Lemina from Juventus’ grasps, it has been suggested that the £9m Juve paid for him will be doubled – still, even at that price, he could end up being a bargain considering the potential he has shown already.
Lemina has made seven appearances in all competitions so far this season, slowly working his way into the starting XI under the watchful eye of manager Massimiliano Allegri – lest we forget, he has brought through the likes of Paul Pogba, who plays in a similar position to the Gabonese international.
