“?Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has sent out a warning message to Champions League rivals Club Brugge, saying it will only be an advantage if the Belgium side underestimate the English reigning champions.
The Nottingham-born defender was a rock in Leicester’s Premier League title winning team last season and now they start their first ever Champions League campaign on Wednesday night against Belgium Pro League champions Club Brugge.
There will be 20,000 fans in attendance at the Jan Breydel Stadium and if the home team underestimate the quality of Leicester, Morgan feels it could be an easy night for the Foxes.
In the pre-match press conference, Morgan revealed, “If they take us lightly then it’s only to our advantage”, before adding, “I’m sure that won’t be the case but we have to be prepared for whatever is thrown at us.
“If teams look at us and maybe think we’re a weaker team than they could have got I don’t think that’ll be wise. We want to go out there, show what we’re capable of and prove what we can do.
“Our style is a different style and I’m not sure teams will be prepared for that.

The 29-time capped Jamaica international said that he’s happy about the short distance to travel, with Porto and Copenhagen also in the group with Brugge, albeit those teams comprise of regular Champions League experience.
“They are big teams with a lot of experience and we need to be ready for whatever comes up against us.”
Morgan ended the press conference with the words “I’ll be ready to go”, so expect a proud and composed performance from the Foxes’ talisman.
