Kotoko expect Jackson Owusu to start training with club on Monday

Asante Kotoko are on the verge of completing a deal for out-of-contract Berekum Chelsea captain Jackson Owusu.

The battling midfielder is expected to start training with the Porcupine Warriors on Monday before his contract his finalized.

Owusu, who has been a long-term target of Kotoko, has declared his intentions leaving Chelsea after four years of service.

He was linked with DR Congo side TP Mazembe but it does not look likely he will sign for the Ravens.
