While at Gateway United, the midfield maestro helped push the team for a possible return to the NPFL but eventually lost out to Bendel Insurance.
Talking about James Oronsaye, he began his journey to professional football witt Royal Star Academy Ejigbo Lagos.
He later joined Gateway United which happens to be his first professional football club in the country.
Surprisingly Oronsaye is a Chelsea fan but his dream is to play for Arsenal one day and possibly help them win their first ever UEFA Champions League.
Apparently, Arsenal fans will have to wait till their club signed the Edo State man before they can dream of winning their first ever UEFA Champions League title ?.
His hardwork in the NNL last season where he scored six times for Gateway United didn’t go unnoticed, that is why he will be playing for Nigeria’s most successful club, Enyimba next season as they target to reclaim their position in the country’s topflight league.
Retired John Obi Mikel is also his favorite Nigeria player.
He loves Rice and Beans and his favorite colours are Yellow and Blue, a color you can’t combine ?.
Oronsaye will help Finidi George’s Enyimba push for a return to the continent while also making an attempt to win the Nigeria Professional Football League again.
