Former captain of the Nigerian U17 team Kelechi Nwakali arrived London yesterday for talks over his immediate future at Arsenal with new coach Unai Emery after spending the last two seasons on loan away from the club.

Nwakali is expected to be farmed out on loan again but his possible destination will be known after the talks with the new coach, who is aware of the talent of the Nigerian forward.

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger ensured Arsenal beat a host of clubs to his signature after his exploits for Nigeria at the 2015 U17 World Youth Championship but work permit issues has kept him out of the first team plans.
