Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi demands Everton must be consistent after a disappointing home defeat in the English Premier League on Tuesday.

The Merseyside lost 4-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion at the Goodison Park piling more pressure on the manager, Frank Lampard.

Coming from a sweet draw against Manchester City on the last day of 2022 at the Etihad, Everton conceded thrice within six minutes in the second half which further condemn the team to the relegation zone.

Iwobi though exuded confidence they can still turn things around but insisted they must be more consistent.

“We showed how we can play vs Manchester City. We can’t be one minute good one minute bad, we’ve got to be consistent.

“The way we discussed in the changing room now we all want to fix it. I’m confident we can get ourselves out of this.” Iwobi said on Liverpool Echo

Iwobi has scored one goal and provided five assists in 18 league appearances for the Merseysiders this season.
