
Preparations are in top gear for the Nigeria U-17 girls who will play the Columbia U-17 female national team on Wednesday as they held their first training on Monday, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.
The team had broken a jinx by qualifying for the semifinals of the competition first time after beating the USA team in a penalty shoot out following a 1-1 draw.
Flamingos attacker, Amina Bello has described the match against Columbia a fight to finish as they are ready to go all the way to the finals.
“It’s a fight to finish, we will not leave any stone unturned as we search for glory in India,” She said via her tweeter page.
The Flamingos had safely returned to Goa on Sunday ahead of the semi-final tie on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
And will aim to get another historic win in the tournament against Colombia at Fatorda Stadium by 12pm.
