Nigerian international and Empoli defender Tyrone Ebuehi has spoken about the challenges he faced during his nearly year-long injury layoff, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Ebuehi suffered a serious injury in March 2024 during a Serie A match against Bologna, but finally returned to the pitch last weekend in a match against Cagliari.
“It was the second serious injury of my career. I was out for a year, and it was very difficult,” he admitted.
“There were tough moments, but now I’m just happy to be back.”
The 28-year-old is now focused on re-establishing himself in the squad after a lengthy absence.
