Following the departure of Frank De Boer, former Lazio boss Stefano Pioli has been announced as his replacement at Inter.
Dutch tactician De Boer was sacked by the Nerazzurri after only joining them a couple of weeks before the current season began, but six wins from 14 games in all competitions was not enough to please the Inter management, as well as the Serie A side’s poor losses in the Europa League.
The club’s official website announced the arrival of Pioli on Tuesday afternoon, with the 51-year-old becoming Inter’s ninth coach since 2010.
Before being sacked in April earlier this year, Pioli had been in charge of the Biancocelesti for two years.
His first game as Inter boss this season will be om November 20, in the season’s first Derby della Madonnina.
