Oluwasemilogo Ajayi could be out of contention for a place in West Brom’s clash against Rotherham United this weekend according to manager Carlos Corberan.
Ajayi has endured injury for a greater part of the season, which has affected not just his performances, but his consistency on the pitch.
The CB had already missed about three months through injury this season.
He trained with the rest of the squad after his recovery from his long-term injury, he however, missed his club’s game against Sunderland last weekend after picking up a shoulder injury in training.
West Bromwich Albion manager, Carlos Corberan explained the situation to reporters:
“I was thinking of playing with Semi in this position because he was fine from the previous injury, but he was involved in one accident in training.”
“He went to the floor and he suffered a problem with his shoulder. We still had doubts the day before the game, but it was impossible for him to have his normal mobility. It’s not an important injury but we need to wait
