Ikorodu City bolster defence with Adebayo signing

Nigeria Premier Football League newcomers Ikorodu City have strengthened their squad with the acquisition of defender Adewale Adebayo, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Adebayo joins the club on a two-year deal from Platinum Stars Sporting Club, bolstering Ikorodu City’s defensive options going into the league season.

The right-back previously played for Benin-based Avrankou Omnisports FC before making the move to Ikorodu City. The club announced Adebayo’s signing on social media, welcoming him to the team.

Adebayo’s addition is a significant boost for Ikorodu City as they prepare for their debut season in the NPFL.
