Nigeria starlet Kelechi Iheanacho again came off the bench to score for EPL giants Manchester City, but it was not enough to get them a share of the points as Tottenham Hotspur won 2-1 to move to second place on the table.
It was Iheanacho’s ninth goal of his debut season in England.
Iheanacho drew City level after 74 minutes, when he fired home from inside the box after he was located by Gael Clichy.
Last week, Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh demanded the youngster play a bigger role at The Etihad to enhance his chances at full international level.
