Ahead of their make or mar second Russia 2018 World Cup game against Iceland, the Super Eagles of Nigeria stepped up their preparations with a test match among themselves.
In their last training session at Essentuki before they will fly out to Volgograd later today, coach of the team Gernot Rohr has the players split in two groups for a test game after the traditional warm up.
Owngoalnigeria.com won’t reveal details of the session as it was a technical session with drills on how to approach the game against Iceland, where a defeat like the game against Croatia will end Nigeria’s campaign at the World Cup.
Rohr who is likely to make two to three changes to his starting line up for the Friday game lined up the players in a formation similar to how they will likely approach the game tomorrow.
