Nigeria international, Henry Onyekuru could replace Anthony Nwakaeme who left the Turkish champions, Trabzonspor.
After Nwakaeme’s move to Saudi Arabia, reports suggest Trabzonspor have been scouting Europe in search of a replacement and Henry Onyekuru may be their choice ahead of the new season.
Onyekuru struggled at Greek champions, Olympiacos last season scoring just one goal all season.
Nwakaeme, Onyekuru and other Nigerian football stars met at a party organised by Olanrewaju Kayode for his wife and manager, Dora in Lagos.
At the event, which also had the newly-married Paul Onuachu, John Ogu, and others in attendance saw the players talk about their future.
Onuachu revealed that his manager is working on an exit from Genk while Kayode revealed he’d be staying back at Sivasspor.
When asked about his future, Onyekuru said he may be returning to the Turkish Super Lig with Nwakaeme reported to have lifted the lid on the arrangement and revealing the player will replace him at the Black Sea Storm.
One of the guests at the event, Ugochukwu Igboanugo who is also Kayode’s friend asked the question and Nwakaeme replied, “He will wear my jersey. I was the first to congratulate him.”
