Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo believes his players are suffering from inferiority complex after seeing his side crash out of the MTN FA Cup on Sunday.
The Phobians slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Medeama in Cape Coast to end their dreams of winning the FA Cup title.
The defeat also saw hopes of a dream final between Hearts and arch rivals Asante Kotoko fade out into thin air.
But Herbert Addo in his post-match comments says efforts must be made to improve on the confidence levels of his players.
“We need to let our players feel that they are good enough,” he said.
“Our players are not confident enough in their qualities. If you look at the Medeama team, they looked very confident.
“So it is something we really need to work on.”
Hearts now have only the Elite Cup as their realest option of winning a title this season due to their stuttering form in the Premier League.
