Magboro FC of Prayer City on Thursday morning defeated Magic Stars Feeders 3-1 during the Ikeja League Championship played at the MFM FC training pitch at the Prayer City, Nigeria Soccernet can exclusively report.
After an entertaining start to the game, the home side Magboro FC broke the deadlock about 20 minutes into the game, a goal which sent the home fans wild in jubilation.
Few minutes later, Magboro FC doubled their advantage but Magic Stars Feeders responded almost immediately with a screamer from outside the 18-yard box which halved the deficit going into the break.
The second half continued where the first ended with both sides pushing players forward in numbers but it was the home team (Magboro FC) that eventually got the only goal of the half to leave the final scores at 3-1.
In the other game played on Thursday in the championship, FC Raymond Int’l spanked visiting Denzela FC 5-1.
