Gift Orban continues fine form with brace and assist

Nigeria in form winger, Gift Orban has continued his brilliance in front of goal after scoring in KAA Gent’s win over RFC Seraing in the Belgian Jupiler League on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Orban found the net twice and assisted as Gent ran over Seraing at Stade du Pairay.

His first goal in the 16th minute from a Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe assist gave Gent the lead till the end of the first half.

Orban continued with the same momentum as he doubled the lead nine minutes into the second half after intercepting a pass.

Orban continued the progression as he set up Hugo Cuypers for the third goal in the 53rd minute before Jordan Torunarigha netted Gent’s fourth in the 66th minute while second his second of the game with his head in the 77th minute.

He now has 14 goals + 2 assists in 11 games for the Belgian club after signing from a Danish 2nd division side.

The win keeps Gent fourth with 54 points after 31 matches.
