Powerful Ghanaian front-man Kevin Luckassen gave a strong statement of intent by scoring and setting a goal for Czech Republican side Slovan Liberec in their 2-0 triumph over Mas Taborsko in a pre-season friendly.
The 21-year-old former AZ Alkmaar had assisted Senegalese forward Mouhamad N’Diaye for the opening goal in the 19th minute before putting his name on the score-sheet in the 71st minute.
Luckassen joined Liberec two seasons ago after leaving Scottish side Ross County but is yet to let his presence felt at the club.
Though born in the Netherlands, Luckassen has declared his intentions to represent Ghana at senior level.
His 19-year-old brother Derrick Luckassen plays a defender for AZ Alkmaar.
