Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan is expected to join Sassuolo by the close of the week in a €6m deal.

Inter Milan, the substantive owners of the 22-year-old are reported to have reached an agreement to sell the youngster to Sassuolo.

Duncan has struggled to break into the first team of the Italian giants having come through their academic ranks.

He has been sent out on loan twice in the last two seasons with Livorno and Sampdoria.

Inter are now ready to sell Duncan permanently to Sassuolo who have offered €6m for the Ghanaian.

The move is expected to be completed by the close of the week when the finer details of the deal is agreed upon.
