Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan scored his debut goal for Sassuolo in their 1-1 draw with Spanish club Vallarreal on Sunday.
The 22-year-old scored in just the fourth minute to give his side the lead at the Mapei Stadium.
Duncan only joined the Green and Black this summer on a permanent deal from Inter Milan.
He was replaced early in the second half after which Villarreal equalized through Nahuel.
The draw against Villarreal is Sassuolo’s final pre-season match ahead of the start of the Serie-A campaign which commences this weekend.
