Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan hopes Sampdoria can build on win at Atalanta

Sampdoria’s Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan hopes the Blucerchiati will build on Sunday’s 2-1 win at Atalanta in the Serie A.

The 21-year-old was handed a starting role and played alongside compatriot Afriyie Acquah in midfield.

Duncan posted on his official Twitter account: “It was important to get back to winning, now we start from here, all good!

Sampdoria managed to rally from a goal down to win 2-1 and move up to sixth on the league table.
