New signing Baba Abdul Rahman  trained for the first time as a Chelsea player on Tuesday afternoon.

The Ghana international left back arrived at the club’s Cobham training ground in the afternoon with his manager Kurt Okraku to complete his move.

He could make his debut at the Hawthorns on Saturday when Chelsea play West Brom.

Rahman’s availability could help manager Jose Mourinho tinker with his starting line-up by moving Cesar Azpilicueta to the right and re-assigning Branislav Ivanovic as centre-back.
