Ghana attacker Jeffrey Schlupp excels as Leicester City reclaim top spot in English Premier League

Ghana attacker Jeffrey Schlupp lasted the entire duration of the game and helped Leicester City to record an impressive 2-1 away triumph over West Ham United to go back to the top of the English Premier League table.

The 21-year-old held down his place in Claudio Ranieri’s Foxes line-up and excelled in the entire regulation minutes as they recorded their second straight win of the season and go back atop the league table.

Schlupp enjoyed a brief leadership status at the top of the table last weekend following Leicester’s 4-2 hammering of Sunderland in the opening day of the season.

Japanese forward Shinji Okazaki and Algerian Riyad Mahrez scored both goals within the first 45 minute before Dimitri Payet halved the scoring for the host in the 55th minute.

  1. So till now the journalists or reporters on this site do not know that Jeffery Schlupp is a defender and always continue to refer to him as an attacker. What is wrong with these GSN reporters?
