“?Former Monaco, AC Milan and PSG striker George Weah is a proud man at the age of 49 after his son, Timothy, scored a hattrick for PSG’s youth team against Ludogorets in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday evening.
The ex-Liberia international scored 55 times for PSG over three seasons, and now it looks as though his 16-year-old son is following in his footsteps.
“?It’s not the first time Timothy Weah has impressed for PSG’s youth side, as he also “?scored five in one game back in February.
This prompted PSG to pen him to a new deal, which will see him stay in the French capital until at least 2018.
UEFA Youth League | Ludogorets 1-8 PSG – including a hat-trick from George Weah’s son Timothy.
It is of course not the first time one of George Weah’s relatives has made the headlines, as his cousin, Ali Dia, tricked Graeme Souness into handing him his Premier League debut in 1996.
Dia turned out to be far from a professional footballer, and this was seen on the field as he struggled for Southampton on his debut, being substituted off late-on after coming on in the second-half.
