Remo Stars’ Beyond Limits Football Academy lost their second match of the Generation Adidas Cup against Strikers FC on Sunday in Florida, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Nigerian team played a one all draw after 90 minutes and extra time, but lost on penalties 8-7.
The Ogun State based team were behind as at the 14th minute of the game, but Abdullahi Muhammed equalled score in the second half.
After the two teams had scored seven penalties each, the Remo Stars Academy team failed to convert their eighth spot kick giving the advantage to the Strikers who scored theirs.
Beyond Limits FA with the result got a point in addition to the two points garnered in the last match against St Louis FC to remain third on the log with same point as Louis FC.
The match against Louis had ended 5-4 on penalties after full time and extra time ended one all.
They play Portland Timbers in their next match.
