Former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has heaped praises on Nigeria forward Samuel Kalu calling him the best dribbler in Europe, Nigeriasoccernet can report.
Rohr who coached Samuel Kalu while with the Super Eagles of Nigeria branded the winger as one of the best dribblers across Europe.
In a chat with AquiTele via Girondins4ever, Rohr rated the 24-year-old high when it comes to dazzling skills in the middle of the pack during a match.
Rohr also disclosed that Kalu, who has not been in great form in recent times, has not played under coaches who believe in him.
“But Samuel Kalu was an excellent dribbler, one of the best dribblers in Europe. He had impressive dribbling stats. I think that, unfortunately, they didn’t know, Rohr said
“There were also a lot of coaches. Kalu had still played quite a bit with Paulo Sousa at one point; then, I saw some good matches with Jean-Louis Gasset.
“Then there was no longer that confidence, he needed to make a difference. He’s a sensitive player,” the Franco-Germain tactician concluded.
