Former Juventus goalkeeper Stefano Tacconi has claimed that 17 year old AC Milan keeper Gianliuigi Donnarumma is good enough to replace current shot stopper Gianluigi Buffon at the Bianconeri in the next year or two.
The Italian made his debut last season in Serie A, creating history by becoming the youngest stopper in the league’s history and presenting himself as one of the most highly-decorated keepers in European football.
Speaking to TMW Radio, Tacconi said that it is only a matter of time before the Old Lady comes calling, saying: “Donnarumma? I think he’s already Juventus, I’ve always said.
“I said it a week ago, you’ll see that in a year or two. Their programming is crucial. Allegri is the best in the business.”?
The potential transfer of Donnarumma would resemble the one that Buffon made, having left Parma to join Juventus at a young age. He has already made 37 appearances for his club and is already being touted as a long-term replacement for Buffon in Turin.

Milan will be keen to hold onto their prized asset, but the possibility of moving to a Champions League and Serie A title contender could be too tempting for the youngster to refuse, should the opportunity arise.
