Ex-Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo recalled his experience against Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi, an experience he claimed was a difficult one, “Stopping him is complicated,” Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Todibo in his interview with Prime Amazon also described the African star as a killer and difficult to defend against while recalling his game against Moffi’s former team Lorient.
“Is it difficult to defend against Terem Moffi? Back to the game, he is a very very good player. He keeps the ball a lot,” Todibo told Amazon Prime, via Le10sport
as per Soccernet.
“He stretched our lines a lot. I think stopping him is complicated, because in the box he’s a killer. You shouldn’t leave too much space.
“It was hard to defend against him, but unfortunately for him, he never scored against us ”
The 23-year-old striker scored 12 goals in 18 league appearances for Lorient before switching to Nice on loan until the end of the season. The deal has an obligation-to-buy for €30 million
Moffi made his debut for OGC Nice as they defeated Olympique Marseille 3-1 in a French Ligue 1 match on Sunday at the Stade Orange Vélodrome.
The good this for the good thing for Todibo in all of this that, Moffi is now together with him at OGC Nice so it’s a problem less for the French defender.
