“?Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj claims he is tired of discussing a potential move to Chelsea, stating he is happy at the Serie A club.
The former Dinamo Zagreb and Hamburg midfielder Badelj has been the subject of repeated transfer speculation given that he only has 18 months to run on his current contract, and has been linked to Chelsea, whose manager Antonio Conte is a known admirer, as well as AC Milan, who reportedly had a bid turned down in the summer.
Rossoneri captain Riccardo Montolivo is currently out injured for the San Siro club, but Badelj has revealed he is not looking to engineer a move away from Fiorentina despite the Chelsea and Milan links, maintaining he is happy to see out the rest of his contract before making any decisions.
“I feel bored talking about it,”? Badelj told “?Goal.
“I understand the press want to speculate, they have a right to do that, but I find it funny that people talk about transfers so far away from the window.
“I still have one-and-a-half years left on my contract with Fiorentina “? why wouldn’t I stay here until the end? I have no problem with that. The thing that bothers me most are the stories that say I’m unhappy in Florence, which is not true.
“I’m thrilled here. The team suits me, I have a great relationship with the coach, I play regularly… the only thing I’m concerned about is how many points Fiorentina win.”?
The Croatian international has picked up one Serie A goal in 10 league appearances, with Fiorentina currently in eighth position, 13 points behind leaders Juventus.
